last chance to get in cheap!

So today was the big Super Satellite day. 103 entries paid $270+30 each to release 10 seats at the main event. Being a Super Satellite you had to end up on the final table, but here I am back at my hotel writing this blog. Guess what? Made it to 21st spot today, another "best 20% of the field" result. If I could just swap four of my last five results in that category for three complete failures and quick exits plus one - just one(!) - top3 placement, I would be happy, but that is not how it goes, is it?

To begin with Dustin and I were seated at the same table, butwhile he faced a baaaad beat having his aces cracked by QQ catching a 4-card flush on the board, I managed to stay in long enough to have a real chance. Jacks were my bad luck again, but instead of losing with them this time they took most of my stack when I went all-in with a severe short stack and Q10. In the next hand I was out.

I think Dustin is giving the main event another chance througha multi buy-in satellite tonight, let´s hope he makes it.

Tomorrow will be my last attempt in 2006 to hit something in a big live tournament - unless I should qualify for something on-line of course
