Ready for Vegas

As is usually the case, my preparations before leaving the country have been eating me alive, and again I have had to adjust my ambitions. The Light House - the luxury villa in Playa Hermosa - was the culprit this time, and even if we are still missing details and finishings here and there, the house has come out absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking and it is ready to be rented. Looks like the first vacationer is already on his way beginning of August, so now we hope we will be seeing money coming in for a change.

But, poker is what is all about the coming couple of weeks, and I will do what I can to keep everybody in the loop. One thing is certain: It will be a warm stay in the desert. The weather report says temperatures in the daytime up to 46 degrees, and minimum 25 at night!! I will have to be careful not to get sick, as the Americans will probably be keeping casino tempertures in the low 20's, the best recipe to catch a nasty cold.

My favorite caps are packed, my TPT bracelet and my Jocelyn Broyles "Diamond King" card cover are polished, my lucky t-shirt is already in the suitcase and I am ready to get into the "zone". My flight takes off early Tuesday morning from Liberia, and I should be arriving Tuesday afternoon in Vegas. In the evening I am headed off to Gus' house to say hi and pick up my Main Event entry cash - here we go!!
